BAND MEMBERS
ALLAN MICHAEL MARCUS
Vocals
Allan is a talented vocalist who has been fronting bands in the boston club scene for decades. His roots are a blend of Rock, Soul and R & B. Along with the ability to deliver both powerful and passionate vocals, Allan's stage presence, energy and his love for performing are contagious. Inspired by the likes of Joe Cocker, Stevie Wonder and Tom Jones, Allan brings the total package to the stage.
ED DONDERO
Guitar & Vocals
Ed is a seasoned guitar player and vocalist in the Boston music scene who incorporates rock, blues and country styles into his guitar playing. He claims his major influence to be Freddie King along with Eric Clapton, but shades of Albert Lee and Robben Ford can be found in his playing as well. Ed believes that music is a transfer of energy and through his guitar playing he connects naturally with an audience!
MARK MYERS
Drums & Percussion
For the past 3+decades Mark played in numerous local and national bands. Always reaching higher, Mark’s drumming mixes his Berklee-educated chops with Roots and Latin rhythms that make each song special.
NEIL McEVOY
Bass & Vocals
Neil has performed in a number of regional bands around the country. He has a wide range of playing experience and always keeps the groove down and locks in with our drummer. His exceptional back up vocals add dimension and power to our 3 part harmonies.
NELS PEDERSON
Trombone
Trombone has been part of his life for many years. As the leader of the horn section Nels loves nothing better than to create and perform powerful horn arrangements.
BILLY LOVE
Trumpet
Billy, a graduate of The Boston Conservatory, has been entertaining and connecting with audiences for many years with his extraordinary trumpet playing. His diverse repertoire includes
Jazz, R&B and Rock. Billy is quite unforgettable as his charismatic playing and personality will connect with every audience every night.
FRANK BONANNO
Saxophone
Frank Bonanno graduated from The Boston Conservatory of Music with a bachelor's degree in Performance Arts. Aside from being the bands Saxophonist, Frank is also a Music Director and Instructor at several schools throughout New England. His playing ranges the spectrum of music, but it's his passionate, powerful and bluesy sax solo's that really put a unique stamp on 12 BARZ BAND.
